OldTown White Coffee with the BEST VIEW @ KLIA
There's obviously nothing I can blog about OldTown White Coffee since this establishment has been BTD™ (Blogged to Death) but what I think about the new OldTown at KLIA is that - it has to be ze one with ze best view!!!This place has just been opened for almost 2 months now and is situated at Contact Pier, Level 3 which is just behind Harrods near the place where you board the trains to the Satellite building. It used to be empty and now OldTown had came in with its outlet. The food is the same everywhere but the view is not!
Self-Service. Check your Number. It's all self-service at this outlet where you need to place your order at the counter and pay immediately. Then, you're given a number and you'll have to wait for your number to be displayed on the LCD TV before you adjourn to the collection counter. The beeping of the number can be quite irritating.
What's so nice about this place is that it's very brightly lit especially with the stretch of glass panel that overlooked the runway. If you have hours to kill, this is the best place to do it with the comfort of cushioned seats and a nice cuppa.
It's very awesome.
Me & Tammy (Fidani's Brand Ambassador)We were with our Fidani Brand Ambassador for one of the counters in Satellite building and this was her second last day with us. She has resigned and plans to go back to London. So, we both took her out for lunch and have a nice chat before she leaves. I still remembered interviewing her for just 10 minutes and decided to hire her for my main counter in Choc-Stop. Tammy is one great sales lady as she manages the counter very well. Sad to let her leave too...
The food...All prices of noodles/rice are hiked up about RM2.00 at this outlet. If your normal bowl costs around RM6.90 downtown, it's RM8.90 here. Nevertheless, we still get our 15% discount since we have our KLIA passes. Cool eh?!!
During the shops exploring / spot check visit, someone told me about this new cigar divan lounge at Satellite building. It's opened by Casa Habana and I have not checked it out yet but they do sell a variety of premium cigars and you can have a smoke in there while waiting for your flight. Ooo... a new place to explore the next time I fly!

yikes, just when i thought there was nowhere else that oldtown could open a new branch, this proved me wrong! i haven't been to klia in months, but i'll definitely keep an eye out for this the next time. also wondering if the cigar divan serves booze...
I did not notice that during my recent trip but I always just head to the biz lounge after check in.
They've that at KLIA? In the departure? For international passengers only? Ah well...I hope the view makes up for the difference in price from the outlets elsewhere. Things is extra-expensive at Malaysia airports!
hey so happy to see you back blogging.. hope everything is OK. hope you are ok! xoxo ciki

Cath J: Thanks. It's my sisters. She bought it from Australia.
Anon: FYI, my grandma isn't any better and she is still in coma. Does that mean I should cease eating and working?
Sean: Haha... it's still mushrooming! This one is nice and big. I'll go check out if it serves booze. They have to la if people are going to smoke there.
TY: Oh this is quite hidden. Behind Harrods, the opposite side of the MAS Regional Lounge.
STP: Yeah at departure right before the trains after the security check in. Yes, things are extremely expensive at airports! Due to rental la...
Cumi & Ciki: Thanks babe. I'm ok, no worries.
KY: KLIA has always been my second home!
Huai Bin: Yeah it's an affordable hang out place.
