I'm in Singapore

Hey people, I'm in singapore. Just attended the Vpost-Nuffnang Christmas Party. It's nice but not so wild as expected. Will blog about it later when I'm back. I just had a cigar (Partagas Serie D) with my Singapore friends at Cue Pasa in Emerald Hill. It was a good smoke coupled with a Glenmorangie Single Malt Whiskey.

Adios...

Eiling,

Great to know you've now tried the PSD 4. What do you think? IMO the PSD 4 is a keeper. A regular in my humidor. Nice medium body with dark cocoa and spicy notes. How do you find the strength of the cigar?

I had a cigar at Que Pasa last year. Thought the govt banned smoking indoors since then.

Cigar must be terribly expensive in the Lion city. I still remembered how they checked for cigarettes at the custom as we moved from JB into Singapore.

HB: Haha yes. You found out!

KY: Yeah. As always kan?

Mef: Hey the PSD#4 was good. Rather smooth, medium bodied and appealing to my palate. I think I took more than 30mins on that smoke. It was far better than PSP. Did they banned smoking indoors? I was smoking in their upstairs private room.

ANon: i don't know that price but it should be costly. Yeah they do check for cigarettes at the customs. 1 pack per person only.

Foodcrazee: Hehe I guess you liked partagas. PSD#4 rocks.

Eiling,

I had a meal there last year. A friend took me there. Didn't know about the private room. Well perhaps next time. I enjoyed a PSD 4 at the Raffles Bar last year.

Hahaha...I'm sure the PSD 4 will take more than 30 mins. Reyes will be a nice 30 mins smoke. Like you I'm not a big fan of PSP 2. But I shall try some from 08 stocks. Young PSP 2 needs time to rest and ages a bit lonnger. A more popular pyramide will be Monte Cristo no. 2

I had a Ramon Allones Short Club yesterday. Perfect with a nice flat white.

Have a great day. Will need your advise and recommendations for some nice places to enjoy cigars in KL.

Mef: I actually tried Monte Cristo Edmundo yesterday and it was awesome. I had it while overlooking the golf course at Sentosa. A good smoke, not too mild nor strong. Just right for me. But I still need to learn how to smoke it evenly as I tend to always over burnt one side of it! You can always email me at eilinglim@hotmail.com Cheers

I am glad you enjoyed the edmundo. How was the company you were smoking with? Did he or she smoke the same? The view there is romantic, green and beautiful sea? Fourseasons must be great too. Very elegant rooms.
