On the last day of the year

Wished I could have blog about this on the 31st itself but I was too busy. Yup, I am working on 31st unfortunately but I had a good lunch with my great girl friends from college. It's been quite sometime that we had a meal together. Had tried to call the others but everyone else was busy either with someone or something so I just met up with Gee and Hoong. We had our reunion at Robert Harris Cafe at 1U. It is just in front of the Warehouse boutique. Although the cafe had been there for quite sometime but I didn't really try the food there. First impression was, okay, it's a nice place with classy chairs but after trying the food, I will not be revisiting the place. Let's just say that the food does not match the image it portrayed.

Banana Chocolate Smoothie

The banana taste is there but lack of chocolate. They must have no idea who they're dealing with - the chocolate connoisseur is here!

Chicken Burger with Fries
Tasted like Ramli Burger according to Gee. I doubt it. I think Ramli is better.

Fish & Chips
Definitely Manhattan Fish & Chips better. I hate these chips.

Fried Calamari
Italiannies is better. This one here is tasteless and soggy.

The BBQ Roast Chicken
Can't really remember but Gee said last time it tasted better. Hmm...

My two dear girlfriends

Hehe....after our meal, I had an itch for shopping. My friend was telling me, it's okay, it's the last day of the year so just spend lo. I bought a pair of Aldo. It's so irresistible la. I paid RM180 for it which is 50% of what it should have been plus it's leather! It's a damn good buy! Then I splurge at Forever 21 on a silver top and 3 pairs of earrings. I know I am no longer 21 but that doesn't mean I can't look like one. I'm forever 21...yay.... The top was quite sexy, it looks like a top but it's long enough to be wore as a dress but not that long enough to ensure that no one sees my you-know-what...ya know what I mean? and I know exactly where I am going to wear it. One afternoon, and I am RM350 poorer.

See what I mean in the previous post. I am in 2008 but a part of me still stuck with 2007 and I am still blogging about 2007.
